1 killed, 4 Hurt In Shooting on their way to California Strip Mall

Police are looking for a gunman who opened fire at a Southern California strip mall, murder one man
and injuring four other people.
San Bernardino police Lt. Mike Madden says a crowd gathered in the parking lot as a man argued with a security guard late Thursday.
Madden says a car pulled into the lot and the driver got out and began shooting into the crowd. The shooter then got back in the car and sped off.
Madden says one man died at the scene and three others were hospitalized. One was critical and the two others are expected to survive.
Investigators believe there’s just one suspect, but do not yet know the motive or the connection between the shooter and the people at the strip mall.

“Firefighters, they do a tremendous job and they deal with fire -- they don’t deal with bullets,” Johnson said Monday morning at a news conference. “It’s a sad time in Long Beach’s history today if you have firefighters injured responding to just doing their job.”
Johnson said a resident of the senior living home, who was not injured, was in custody after the shooting.
